Welcome

Introduction

I am a "maître de conférence" (could be translated as "associate professor") in informatics at the Henri Poincaré, Nancy 1 university and develop my research activities at the LORIA laboratory, more precisely with the CARAMEL (formerly known as CACAO) team.

I am on secondment to the French Network and Information Security Agency (FNISA) / Agence Nationale de la Sécurité des Systèmes d’Information (ANSSI) (formerly known as Central Information System Security Division or DCSSI) linked with the General Secretariat for Defence and National Security (SGDSN).

Research

My research main topic is cryptology. I am especially interested in evaluating the security of symmetric key ciphers by the careful study of the inner functions. It uses tools borrowed from discrete mathematics, combinatorics, coding theory and Boolean functions theory.

I am also developping another research topic on the interactions between information security and legal safeguards.
